Jennifer M Doucet, DSW, LCSW, MSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois and Louisiana with an MSW from Chicago State University and a Doctor of Social Work from Aurora University. She has over 25 years of experience working with adults and adolescents in individual and group therapy, as well as in after-school programs, residential, inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings. She is currently an assistant professor at Chicago State University.

Dr. Doucet practices client-centered, systemic therapy, helping clients broaden their perspective to discover new possibilities. She integrates mindfulness and other evidence-based techniques to strengthen resilience and functioning.

Dr. Doucet's scholarly interests include identifying disparities that impact the African American and Latino communities and identifying how social workers can best address these issues through advocacy and evidenced based research.
